Book Fair: 7-12 March in the Library
There will be a great selection of books, as well as stationery and posters.
One of the books for sale will be Scholastic’s Book of the Month, Star Crossed by Rachael Winn, the 16-year-old girl from Didcot Girls’ School, who wrote the book when she was 14. She will be visiting OLCSS later this month to talk to Year 9s and Year 10s, and will also sign copies of her book. Copies can be ordered from the book fair, and will also be available at the time of her visit.
Also in the sale, Jacqueline Wilson's new book, her autobiography Jacky Daydream. Don't worry if it sells out, we can order extra copies for you.
There will be an opportunity to view all the books for sale at lunch time on Wednesday 7 March from 1.10 pm. You may also find your teacher has booked a viewing slot during that day. There will be no sales that day, but you can ask to have a book reserved for you.
Payment by cheque, please, payable to ‘Scholastic Ltd’ or cash. Books cannot be charged to your account, but you may use your £1 World Book Day voucher towards your purchase (only one voucher per book – you cannot use your friend’s towards the same book). You may reserve books, but they will not be kept for you if you have not paid by Monday. Orders for books sold out can also be taken with payment.
