The Children's Party at the Palace, 25 June 2006
One of the Queen's 80th birthday celebrations was a special children's garden party which celebrated the magic of books. A live stage show took place in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, with 2,000 children attending, as well authors and a host of book characters including Peter Rabbit, Noddy, Postman Pat, Paddington Bear.
