World Book Day is Thursday 2 March
Something for everyone!
• Decorate-a-Door-as-a-Book Competition. Decorating takes place on Wednesday, with judging at lunchtime on World Book Day.
• Whole School Reading, 3.45 - 4.00 p.m. The three afternoon lessons are shorter by 5 minutes so everyone can stop and read. Stay with your teacher from period 8, but remember to bring something to read, or visit the Library earlier in the day.
• A Good Read! Teachers will be starting their lessons with a recommendation or tell you what they are enjoying reading. If they forget – remind them!
• Book Sale in the Library all week, Tuesday and Thursday until 4.45 p.m., with a huge selection of books courtesy of our local book shop, The Bookstore. Use your World Book Day voucher. Reserved books must be paid for by Friday, please.
• Book Quiz - the closing date is 4.30 p.m. Tuesday 7 March.
