Alan Gibbons Author Visit
Award-winning writer Alan Gibbons is visiting Abingdon on Thursday 2 February.
Alan Gibbons is our first guest in the annual Joint Schools Author Visits organised by librarians from the three secondary independent schools. His website can be found at http://www.alangibbons.com/
Years 7 and 8 will have a superb opportunity to hear an inspiring and popular author, and share the excitement with students from other schools in Abingdon.
Check the shelves and the Library catalogue to see which of his titles are available. These include Shadow of the Minotaur, which won the Blue Peter Book Award in the 'Book I Couldn't Put Down' category, The Edge, nominated for the Carnegie Medal, and his thriller The Defender, as well as more recent books.
